SCAS Members’ Area

Welcome to the Members’ Area

As a Society one of our main objectives is to increase awareness and understanding of the Stoneygate Conservation Area and its history and our website is an important means of achieving that.

We see it as a “shop window” through which visitors from all walks of life and all sorts of places can get an introductory glimpse into the place and the Society – and make contact with us, if they would like to.

Visitors are always welcome and under no obligations. They can browse the site for as little or as much time as they like. Those of you who take a further step and join the Society are making a tangible contribution to our work and, in return, we are happy to share more of it with you.

As a member our Newsletter will be delivered to your door three times a year and you’ll be warmly welcomed to our AGM (held locally, usually in May) where you’ll be able to chat to fellow members, meet the committee and raise any issues that you’d like to share over tea, coffee or other light refreshments.

As well as a physical newsletter through the letterbox, SCAS members also have online access to additional resources.

  • Nearly a hundred issues of our Newsletter from 1984 to the most recent
  • Every issue of our annual report from 2013-14 to the present
  • Details of our guided walks, coach trips and other events
